Property Policies + Terms and Conditions
Reservation & Payment Policy
All reservations must be secured with a valid payment method at the time of booking.
Reservations are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued. Full payment is processed 7 days prior to arrival.
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape reserves the right to cancel any reservation that contains invalid payment information.
Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking total.
Requests to change reservation dates are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Date changes may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-In: After 3:00 PM
Check-Out: By 11:00 AM
Quiet Bay offers contactless self check-in. Check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
Late check-out will incur an additional night's fee plus a flat fee of $100.
Arrival Policy
Important: Guests must arrive via the designated driveway and parking area. Arrival by boat or any other means on the bay is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Please plan your arrival time according to your reservation. Quiet Bay staff may deny access or assistance to guests attempting to arrive by boat or in any unsafe manner.
All guests are expected to follow property signage and instructions when arriving to ensure a safe and smooth check-in.
Occupancy Policy
Each room has a maximum occupancy limit of four (4) persons that must be respected for safety and insurance purposes.
Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.
Unauthorized additional guests may result in:
- Additional charges
- Immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund
- Removal from the property without refund
Quiet Hours
Quiet Bay is designed to be a peaceful lakeside stay.
Quiet hours are observed daily from: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum during this time out of respect for other guests and neighboring properties. Please remember, noise travels on the lake.

Standard Rooms Include

Kitchenette Rooms Include
- All standard room amenities plus:
- Larger refrigerator
- Stovetop
- Kettle
- Toaster
- Pots and pans
- Dishes and cutlery
Guests are responsible for the proper use and care of all amenities provided. Guests are responsible for cleaning their dishes before checking out and leaving the space in the shape it was found in.
Towels & Pool / Lake Use
Bath towels provided in rooms are for indoor use only.
Guests planning to swim in the pool or lake must bring their own beach towels.
Indoor towels used outdoors will incur a $100 replacement fee per towel.
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping is not automatically provided.
For multi-night stays, fresh towels or basic room refresh may be available upon request.
Guests are expected to maintain reasonable cleanliness during their stay.
Excessive cleaning requirements will result in additional charges.
Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests.
Parking is limited to one vehicle per room unless otherwise approved.
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not responsible for damage, theft, or loss involving vehicles or items left in vehicles.
Pet Policy
Pets may be permitted in select rooms and must be approved in advance.
- Pets must be well behaved
- Pets must be supervised
- Pets may not be left unattended
- Pet waste must be cleaned up promptly
Any damage caused by pets will be charged to the guest.
Additional pet fees may apply.
Smoking Policy
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is a non-smoking property.
Smoking or vaping inside rooms is strictly prohibited. Smoking is only permitted outdoors and must be at least 9 metres (30 ft) away from all buildings, doors, and windows.
Evidence of smoking inside rooms will result in a minimum $250 cleaning fee. This applies to tobacco, marijuana, and all vaping devices.
Guests wishing to smoke must do so outdoors and dispose of waste responsibly.
Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage caused to:
- Rooms
- Furniture
- Appliances
- Linens or towels
- Outdoor amenities
- Buildings or property
Repair or replacement costs may be charged to the guest responsible for the damage.
Lake, Dock & Outdoor Areas
Guests use the lake, dock, pool, and surrounding outdoor areas at their own risk.
Children must be supervised at all times.
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss occurring on the property or waterfront areas.
Guests are asked to respect the natural environment and surrounding property.
Fire Pit Policy
Fires must only be lit in designated fire pit areas and must never be left unattended.
Fires must be fully extinguished before leaving.
Local fire bans and safety regulations must always be followed. It is the guests responsibility to check the current fire ban before having a fire.
All garbage related to fire pit use, including firewood bags and waste from fire-related activities, must be properly disposed of in the garbage bins located in your room.
Guests who leave garbage or litter in the fire pit area or anywhere on the property will be charged a $100 littering fee per occurrence.
Quiet Bay is a natural property surrounded by wildlife and natural beauty. We ask all guests to respect the environment and dispose of waste responsibly.
Guests who litter may be removed from the property without refund and may incur additional cleaning fees if required.
Quiet Bay reserves the right to prohibit fires during unsafe conditions.
Lost & Found
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
Items found after guest departure may be held for a limited period.
Liability Disclaimer
Guests use all property amenities and facilities at their own risk.
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not liable for:
- Personal injury
- Accidents
- Lost or stolen property
- Damage to personal belongings
Guests are responsible for supervising children and pets at all times.
Right to Refuse Service
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests from the property without refund if they:
- Violate property policies
- Cause disturbances to other guests
- Engage in illegal activity
- Cause damage to the property
- Create unsafe conditions
Policy Changes
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape reserves the right to update or modify these policies at any time.
Policies in effect at the time of reservation will apply to the booking.
Weather & Power Outages
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not responsible for weather conditions, wildlife, insects, natural events, or interruptions to electrical power, water, internet, or other utilities that may affect your stay.
Some amenities may be unavailable at times due to weather or maintenance. No refunds or compensation will be issued for weather, utility interruptions, or power outages.
Photography & Videography
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape reserves the right to take photographs and videos on the property for promotional, advertising, or marketing purposes.
By staying on the property, guests consent to being included in photographs and videos taken on-site, without compensation.
Lost Key / Door Code Policy
Lost keys will incur a replacement fee.
Door codes must not be shared with anyone who is not a registered guest.
Minimum Stay Policy
Cottage reservations: A minimum stay of 2 nights is required.
Long weekends: A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for all suites.
Minimum stay requirements are strictly enforced and cannot be waived.
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected (name, contact details, payment info) is used solely to process bookings, communicate with you, and improve our services. We do not sell your information. Data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary. By using our services, you consent to this policy.

Booking & Payment
By making a reservation, you agree to provide accurate personal and payment information. Reservations are not confirmed until payment is successfully processed.
Full payment is processed 7 days prior to arrival. Failure to provide valid payment may result in cancellation of your booking.
Cancellation & Refunds
Guests may cancel free of charge up to 7 days before arrival. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival or no-shows will result in 100% of the booking amount being charged.
Refunds are not issued for early departures, missed nights, or due to weather, natural events, or power outages.
Use of Property
Guests agree to comply with all property policies, including occupancy, arrival, noise, and fire pit rules.
Guests use all amenities at their own risk. Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.
Liability & Indemnity
Guests agree to indemnify and hold Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from their stay, including those caused by pets, children, or unauthorized guests.
Right to Refuse & Eviction
Quiet Bay reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests without refund for violation of property policies, illegal activity, unsafe behavior, or disturbances.
Website & Intellectual Property
All content on the Quiet Bay website, including images, text, and logos, is property of Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape and may not be copied or used without permission.
Privacy
All personal information collected is used only to process bookings, communicate with guests, and improve services. Data is stored securely and is never sold.
Policy Updates
Quiet Bay reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The version in effect at the time of booking applies to your stay.
