Property Policies + Terms and Conditions
Reservation & Payment Policy
All reservations must be secured with a valid payment method at the time of booking.
Reservations are not confirmed until payment has been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued. Full payment is processed 7 days prior to arrival.
Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape reserves the right to cancel any reservation that contains invalid payment information.
Cancellation Policy
Guests may cancel their reservation free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
If a reservation is cancelled within 7 days of arrival, 100% of the total booking amount will be charged.
No-shows will be charged 100% of the booking total.
Requests to change reservation dates are not guaranteed and are subject to availability. Date changes may be treated as a cancellation under this policy.
Check-In & Check-Out
Check-In: After 3:00 PM
Check-Out: By 11:00 AM
Quiet Bay offers contactless self check-in. Check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
Late check-out will incur an additional night's fee plus a flat fee of $100.
Arrival Policy
Important: Guests must arrive via the designated driveway and parking area. Arrival by boat or any other means on the bay is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
Please plan your arrival time according to your reservation. Quiet Bay staff may deny access or assistance to guests attempting to arrive by boat or in any unsafe manner.
All guests are expected to follow property signage and instructions when arriving to ensure a safe and smooth check-in.
Occupancy Policy
Each room has a maximum occupancy limit of four (4) persons that must be respected for safety and insurance purposes.
Only guests listed on the reservation are permitted to stay overnight.
Unauthorized additional guests may result in:
- Additional charges
- Immediate cancellation of the reservation without refund
- Removal from the property without refund
Quiet Hours
Quiet Bay is designed to be a peaceful lakeside stay.
Quiet hours are observed daily from: 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum during this time out of respect for other guests and neighboring properties. Please remember, noise travels on the lake.

Kitchenette Rooms Include
- All standard room amenities plus:
- Larger refrigerator
- Stovetop
- Kettle
- Toaster
- Pots and pans
- Dishes and cutlery
Guests are responsible for cleaning dishes and leaving the unit in a reasonably tidy condition.
Towels & Pool / Lake Use
Bath towels are for indoor use only.
Guests must bring their own beach towels for outdoor use.
Indoor towels used outdoors will incur a $100 replacement fee per towel.
Housekeeping & Damage Fees
We kindly ask guests to treat the space with care and leave it in a reasonably tidy condition upon departure.
A minimum $250 housekeeping fee may be applied where a unit requires additional or excessive cleaning beyond standard turnover.
This may include unwashed dishes, excessive mess, or belongings and garbage left throughout the unit.
Where additional time, labour, or repairs are required due to misuse or avoidable damage, further charges may apply.
Parking
Complimentary on-site parking is available for registered guests.
One vehicle per room unless otherwise approved.
We are not responsible for vehicle damage, theft, or loss.
Pet Policy
Pets are permitted in select rooms with prior approval.
- Pets must be supervised at all times
- Must not be left unattended
- Owners must clean up after pets
Any damage caused will be charged to the guest.
Smoking Policy
This is a non-smoking property.
Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited.
Smoking is only permitted outdoors at least 9 metres from buildings.
A minimum $250 cleaning fee applies for smoking indoors.
Property Damage
Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms, furniture, appliances, linens, towels, or property.
Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.
This includes, but is not limited to, damage caused by improper use of plumbing. Guests must not dispose of grease, fats, oils, food, or any other materials down sinks or drains. Only toilet paper provided by Quiet Bay may be flushed. Any plumbing issues or damage resulting from misuse will be charged to the guest.
Missing or Stolen Items
All items provided in the unit and on the property are the property of Quiet Bay: Lakeside Escape unless otherwise stated.
If items are found to be missing, damaged beyond normal use, or removed from the property without authorization, the cost of replacement will be charged to the guest responsible for the reservation.
Where necessary, additional administrative or recovery fees may apply.
In cases of intentional removal or theft of property, Quiet Bay reserves the right to charge full replacement value, report the matter to authorities, and pursue further action if required.
Lake, Dock & Outdoor Areas
Use of all outdoor areas is at your own risk.
Children must be supervised at all times.
We are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
Rental Equipment (Kayaks, SUPs, Canoes & Watercraft)
Kayaks, canoes, and other rental equipment must be reserved and paid for in advance. Availability is limited and not guaranteed without prior booking.
Guests are responsible for all rented equipment during their rental period and agree to use items safely, follow all posted rules, and comply with any instructions provided by Quiet Bay.
All users acknowledge that water activities involve inherent risks. By renting equipment, guests voluntarily assume all risks associated with use.
Life jackets (where provided or required) must be used in accordance with safety guidelines and local regulations.
All equipment must be returned in the same condition it was provided.
Any damage, loss, or failure to return rental items will result in charges to the guest, including full replacement cost, repair costs, loss of use, and any associated fees.
Fire Pit Policy
Fire pits must be used responsibly and never left unattended.
All fires must be fully extinguished after use.
Guests must follow all fire bans and safety regulations.
Lost & Found
We are not responsible for lost or forgotten items.
Liability Disclaimer
Guests use the property at their own risk.
We are not responsible for injury, loss, or theft.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to remove guests for policy violations, unsafe behaviour, or damage without refund.
Policy Changes
Policies may be updated at any time. The version at time of booking applies.
Weather & Power Outages
No refunds are issued for weather, power outages, or utility interruptions.
Privacy Policy
Guest information is used only for booking and communication purposes and is never sold.
