Lake Life

Calm, shallow waters make the bay perfect for paddling and exploring. Many guests venture into deeper areas of Ahmic Lake for swimming, floating, and long summer afternoons on the water.

Prefer a classic swim? The pool offers a more traditional and relaxing experience just steps from the rooms.

Pool & Outdoor Living

Our fenced in-ground pool is a guest favourite — ideal for cooling off on warm summer days or relaxing poolside with a book.

Pool toys and limited life jackets are available. Guests are encouraged to bring their own for comfort and fit.

Evenings & Night Skies

Gather around the fire and unwind under incredibly clear, star-filled skies. Situated in the Almaguin Highlands, we are home to some of the darkest skies in Ontario, with skies ranging from Bortle 1 to 4 – meaning near zero light pollution, perfect for stargazing. You’ll see tons of stars, satellites, even faint galaxies ✨

Wildlife & Nature

Deer are seen frequently throughout the property, especially in the winter, as we are a deer wintering ground. Depending on season, you may see deer, moose, wolves, black bears, foxes, beavers, muskrats, bald eagles, hawks, owls, turtles, and various birds. Early mornings and golden hour are especially magical here.

Furry Friends 🐾

Pets are welcome in designated pet-friendly rooms only.

With 16 acres of trails, forest, and open space, it’s a place your dog will love exploring — just as much as you will.
